My new back door!

Kevin got a job in Heber. So I give to you,
a picture of my new back door.. 

Maybe some day I will take a picture of the front. 

We are moving this Saturday, and we are so excited!!

This is a cabin that my dear grandma built a few (10ish) years ago and Kev and I love to go escape there on the weekends. We always dreamed of buying it from her, but it looks like that dream might come true. The area has such a peaceful beautiful feeling that makes us never want to leave.

We are going to live there for a year,
and make sure that Kevin's new job goes well.
If it does we plan to buy the cabin and stay in Heber forever!
If not.. we will just start a new adventure somewhere else.

Sunday kev packed us lunches and told
me we were going on a drive,

and this is where we ended up.

In Golden Spike National Monument, the middle of no where! 

It was a good little adventure!

It would be a really fun place to go on a warm day and let the kids play in the sand.

The boy is back.

Parker is safely home! 

We are complete again.

Good times have been had, 

and much more to come.

4 more Days

Parker Paul gets home in 4 days!! It was a long 2 years with out him and we are crazy excited to see him!

Well I have to brag for a moment.. He is a pic of Nash's hair cut, that i did alone. I used to cut it all the time so it was no biggie right? wrong! If any of you know Nash now.. It is quite the feat to cut his hair, alone, and have it turn out looking like a real boy. He has the attention span of a lightning bolt.

Christmas morn.. I will do a post on that as soon as i figure out my new camcorder!

For new years we went to our cabin in Heber, it was our first trip with just our little family. It was a much needed break and so much fun.  Kev got that helicopter for christmas and Nash will watch him fly it as long as kev will let him, he loves it.

This is how much snow was at the cabin, it was an adventure trying to get in.

Guatemala Humanitarian Benefit

Kevin will be going to Guatemala this

We love it. 

He calles my mom Gigi, and his favorite thing right now is to 

play in gigi's utensil drawer that she gladly takes right out of the cupboard.

I FINALLY got to hike to the wind caves!! 

Its not Kev's favorite hike but he 

finally gave in.

Close to Heaven.

This is my uncle Stevie. 

He is a very special person and means so much to me. 

We were lucky enough to get to visit him on Thanksgiving. 

We don't see him that often so it meant a lot.

Stevie has Sturge Weber syndrome.

Sturge-Weber syndrome is a neurological disorder indicated at birth

by seizures accompanied by a large port-wine stain birthmark

on the forehead and upper eyelid of one side of the face. He was born in Africa

 with my dad and has out lived anything the doctors ever imagined.

They said he wouldn't live past the age 6.  I believe that Stevie was a very 

special spirit in the life before this, to be able to come to this earth

with the protection and straight way back to heaven that he has. 

He bring so much happiness to our lives, so many laughs, and gives the best hugs I have ever had.

and I am so thankful for him and how close to heaven I feel when i am with him.

We finally had our first real family pics taken! TnT Stanger Photography did such an amazing job. Highly recommended!  I will try to narrow it down to favorites.. but I like them all.

Nash is the Cheesiest Cheeser. He loves Daddys Jeep, AKA skinny.

Also good news.. I got a new desktop! woo hoo!! So I now have no excuses for not blogging. 

Its mostly so I can remember everything.. But if  it can make someone else smile on the way.. then hooray!
